We have teamed up with The East Midlands Chamber to deliver a series of free information sessions for Chamber members.
2016 has seen a significant number of high profile data breaches, leading to some of the largest fines ever handed down to UK businesses.
This series of briefings will cover all of the “need to know” developments and how they will affect your organisation, including the latest on preventing data breaches, insuring against cyber risk and changes to legislation governing sensitive data.
The first of these sessions, which takes place on 21st February in Derby, will give delegates an in introduction to cyber security, an overview of current threats, and a guide to some of the first steps businesses can take to start protecting themselves.
After a light breakfast, attendees will take in a series of short presentations on the headline topics. This will be followed by a Q&A session, coupled with some real-world case studies, to help delegates transpose what they have learned into their own business.
